Karachi – Opal 225 and Hoshang Pearl are two new projects of Bahria Town in Karachi.
Registration forms were offered to general public on the launch of projects and Bahria Town cherished the sale of all registration forms on the very first day and in few hours only.
Bahria Town says thanks to the people for showing such an immense interest for Opal 225 and Hoshang Pearl.
No more registration forms will be issued for these projects and the last date of submission of forms is set to be 16 December, 2013.

Lahore – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said, “No system can run through force; the cessation of fraudulent activities is my first priority.”
He further said that by 2014, computerized land record systems will be introduced in 144 tehsils and 36 districts. “I am not against Patwaris but the Patwari Mafia and want proper cessation of the mafia”, verbalized Shahbaz.
Since the last 6 years, no new patwari has been enlisted. Various known personalities and bureaucrats sent summaries to the Chief Minsiter Punjab for enlisting patwaris, but none of the summaries were approved. Shahbaz Shairf further extrapolated that with the implementation of Computerized Land Record System, corruption and land mafia will come to an end and with this system, work related to Fard and Intiqaal of properties will be done in minutes.
Chief Minister expressed these views in his speech after inaugurating the Computerized Land Record System at Walton Road, Lahore.

slamabad – The housing foundation of capital decides to demolish illegal built-up property in G-14.
The court has declared 2 million square feet of property as illegal and the housing director general has ordained to demolish the illegal construction.
The housing foundation was unable to undertake development work due to the property claims in G-14. Nevertheless, in the outcome of enquiries conducted by district and session judges, the property was affirmed to be illegal.
Malik Zafar Abbas, DG Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (EGEHF) has sent letter to the ICT administration regarding the demolition of property.

Islamabad – In order to provide residential facilities to the destitute senior citizens, the PBM (Pakistan Baitul Mal) plans to the develop old age homes.
An official from PBM said that initially a retirement home will be developed in Islamabad and all basic amenities will be provided to the senior citizens there. Efforts will be done to end up the sense of deprivation among the senior citizens.
Later on, more old age homes will be established in different areas of the country. 158 rehabilitation centres have already been developed for the victims of child labor and orphans.
